Bull

The good pub guide review

Old red-brick village pub bought and refurbished by the local community in 2017; stylish décor with modern artwork, mirrors etc on deep blue walls, banquettes and other comfortable seating on wood-strip floors, nice open fire, good often imaginative food (not Sun evening) from sharing boards up including set menu, three changing ales, craft beers and well chosen wines from marble-topped counter; children and dogs (in bar) welcome, tables out on back deck under heated parasols, closed Mon, otherwise open all day (till 8pm Sun).

Licensee Introduction

The Bull Inn is a historic pub in the heart of Limpsfield village in Surrey. A lively and welcoming village pub, serving excellent food and drink and showcasing local ales and produce. The Bull was bought in May 2018 by Enterprising Limpsfield Ltd, a local business set up by Limpsfield residents (now with over 200 local investors) who wanted to preserve their village pub and ensure it stayed at the heart of the community for many more generations. The Bull Inn reopened after extensive refurbishment in November 2018.
