Friendly little Victorian terraced local not far from the city centre; seven well kept changing ales such as Adnams, Kent, Black Sheep, Oakham, Gads (tasters offered), a proper cider and good range of whiskies, bare-boards bar with woodburner, modern back conservatory, no food; juke box and various games; dogs welcome, seats in garden behind, nearby parking can be difficult, open all day Fri-Sun.
