Popular pub with attractive bar and dining rooms, good modern food and seats outside; bedrooms
The good pub guide review
You can indeed bunk up at the Bunk Inn ' there are nine well equipped and comfortable bedrooms to choose from. The bustling bar has chunky wooden armchairs and sofa alongside an open fire, leather-seated wall banquettes, and farmhouse chairs and stools around pine tables on wide boards. More stools line the counter where they keep Red Rock Devon County, Two Cocks 1643 Cavalier and a changing guest on handpump and good wines by the glass; background music and board games. The candlelit dining room has painted, wooden and high-backed leather chairs around a mix of tables, rustic stable door partitioning, a pale green dado with mirrors and artwork on brick walls above, fresh flowers and little plants in pots; there's also a spacious dining conservatory. Outside, terraces (heated in chilly weather) have tables and chairs and picnic-sets under parasols.
